insights into my life

From last night. Today, I am authorized to buy a power drill. (The unused nail gun having been returned, this will be my first power tool.) This evening, we will conquer.

And this, mind you, is after 15 minutes of waiting. I guess I've been moving in this direction for a long time.

  1. Congrats on your first power tool purchase! I think a staple gun is way more useful than a nail gun anyway :). Good luck with the bathroom reno!

And, I may be out of practice, but I can't read that test. I'm guessing it's not a bfp, though :(.

  2. I was wondering whether I was being too tricky here...you can't read the test because it's blank. No "T" (test = positive) line, and no "C" (control = neutral) line either. I thought the stores around here only made the one-line kind, but I guess I'd just never encountered the zero-line kind before.

  3. LMBO!!!!

SOOOO sorry to laugh at your expense, but we truly are kindred spirits. Ahhh, the ever cryptic blank pregnancy test... gotta love when your hpt won't even recognize the POTENTIAL of your urine to hold any detectable hCG.

  4. You are my home renovation hero! And, boo to the stupid hpt. You suck, hpt.

  5. Okay, I just tried leaving a comment, but I got an error. I hope you got the 1st one. If not, I will send you an e-mail. Ugh...sorry, my Mac is not liking me trying to comment tonight.

  6. That's funny, I just took a pregnancy test this morning (two actually) and both were completely blank. I will never buy Target brand tests again.

Also, I'll recommend a cordless 12v DeWalt power drill. 12v has quite a bit of power to get you through projects, but it also comes with a second battery and a charger, so if you keep it charged, you'll definitely be all set.

  7. Ugh. So, so sorry about the negative hpt. I hate taking them, b/c they're always negative. Kind of like my mood afterwards. :(
